Tiger Hurts

Tiger hasn't been feeling well for about a month now. The vet and I thought he was getting arthitis, but he hasn't responded very well to medication. He's now so uncomfortable that he limps around avoiding putting weight on his back leg. Seeing him like this is killing me.

So we're off to the vet tomorrow to take xrays and see if we can pinpoint the problem. I know he's an old dog (10 1/2), but he doesn't seem to be that old. Shouldn't have have another couple of good years left? I've already begun looking at wheelchairs if that's what it comes to. I just want him to live without pain.

Nope, he hasn't had vaccines for 6 months. It's definitely something bone or muscle related.

Poor thing. Whatever difficulties Tiger may be going through I know that your careful, loving attention is fully appreciated.

I'm so sorry Big Dog is hurting. You know how I love him and his big stinky self. But I can't help giggling at the thought of him in a wheelchair. He's so clumsy on all 4 legs that I can't even begin to imagine how clumsy he'd be in that!!! I hope he feels better sooon.

Nat, yes, if it comes down to a wheelchair, it will definitely be one with spinners! He's still at the vet right now so I'm in the dark. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next hour.
