Sunrise from North Mountain

I hiked North Mountain this morning. It's a lovely little hike only a few minutes drive from my house. Phoenix had quite a thunderstorm last night with a lot of rain so it was wet and cool (low 80's). The hike up North Mountain isn't too long but it has a nice rise in elevation. It's a good workout and the reward is definitely the view.

The first photo is of the sun coming up when I reached the top of the mountain (and caught my breath). I took the second photo on the way down and you can see some of the trail below me.
