Priorities

Journalism Josh just cancelled dinner with me in order to go home to his new Power Mac G5. He wrote, "It wouldn't be fair for me to go out with you, since I'd just be thinking about geeky goodness all night long." You know, if I was a normal girl, I'd be really mad right now. But I'm not. I totally understand and would be doing the exact same thing if I were in Josh's shoes.

Hmm... not so sure I'd want to be involved with that sort of... multi-user environment. I mean, multitasking is fine and all, but you could never be sure just whose applications might be running in the background. Better to stick to a dedicated machine, I'd say. (Besides, as difficult as it is to understand the single-processor models, do you really want to add *another* layer of complexity to the environment?)
