It's Dad's birthday today. The only way I remember his age is because he's 30 years old than me. Or more specifically, 30 years older than I will turn next month. I suppose the easiest way I could say that is he was 30 when I was born and that's how I keep track. But why say something easy when you can say it three different ways and still be confused?
Really it's all a moot point since I don't really know how old I am or how old I'll be turning next month. The most important part is I have a wonderful father who is having a birthday today. Happy birthday, Dad! Enjoy the chicken cacciatore that Mom is making - I wish I could be there! (The best birthday tradition EVER is that you get to choose what Mom makes for dinner on your birthday. Since Mom is a fantastic cook, it's a real treat!)
Oh yeah, happy valentines, too. I hope your day is full of love and sweet things.
