Bad Dreams

March 26, 2002 - 12:40pm

I just woke myself up crying. I was having a horrible dream about being in prison. I don't remember much of it but I had been encarcerated for 7 years. A couple of friends came to pick me up and I was saying how fast the time had gone. Then I broke down crying. And I worke up crying. I finally realized it was a dream but I'm still sad.

Was it a Mexican prison?

I tried some dream interpretation for your dream and this is what I came up with: "Dreaming of jail is an obstacle dream. Your difficulties will be short term if you escaped or were released. If you had the rare experience of being aware of the number of things in your dream(in your case, years), it signifies an increase in personal power and/or prestige; to remember the numbers in your dream forecasts good luck ahead possibly connected with the dreamed number or some derivative or multiple of it." I hope that makes you feel a little better, Erica.

Thank you, Mia. I feel much better today. But yesterday I was in a funk pretty much all day. And, no, Chad, it wasn't a Mexican prision. Though I'm curious to hear if you saw one or not!

I'm hope you've recovered from the prison dream. This is one that I have quite fruequently. I'm incarcerated, I don't remember why, but the world is moving on without me... Hmmmmm...
